Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need a traffic control plan for lane closures or events?
Traffic control plans (TCP) are necessary for right-of-way and lane-closure permits. TxDOT work has its own standards to be compliant. Every TCP is built to TxDOT standards meaning whats on paper is whats on the road.
How much does traffic control cost?
Safety isn’t expensive, it’s priceless. Cost depends on the job; how many lanes, how many hours, how long it runs, and crew size. An overnight event closing multiple lanes won’t cost the same as a single lane closure for a few hours in the day. Each quote is scoped to your needs.
How fast can you get the crew or equipment on site?
Here at STXTCS we believe in clear communication and meeting your project needs. Typical requests are week or two out but Urgent and next-day requests happen. Have an active job or one coming up soon call us today and we can provide timelines based on your project needs.
What areas do you service?
We service the entire state of Texas.
Can I rent equipment without a crew?
No, we do have rental rates for equipment but this requires our employees and our setup to adhere to compliance with federal safety mandates, liability, and adherence to state transportation codes.
Are your flaggers certified?
Our crews are trained and certified through TxDOT and follow all closure, specifications, and requirements accordingly.
